With regard to IMO Data Collection System which entered into force on March 1, 2018, KR provided the technical information through 2018-IMO-03 ‘Preparing for implementation of ship fuel oil consumption data collection system’. The implementation of the DCS for ship fuel oil consumption was discussed in the 73th session of the MEPC(Marine Environment Protection Committee), which was recently held on 22-26 October, 2018.
In this regard, we would like to provide you with technical information including what was discussed in terms of the DCS issues in the aforementioned meeting, in order to help ship owners and management companies.
